Hello there, followers!
Our summer break is coming to a quick end... tear. But what a lovely summer it's been! Shane's been fortunate enough to be home most of the month, so we've had a lot of family time. We filled our days with biking adventures, fixing up the house, a trip to South Lake Tahoe, shopping, backyard get-togethers, movies, and well, whatever we felt! It's been amazing, but it's time to get back on a regular schedule of daycare and work.
I head into my new job on Monday--- I'd be lying if I didn't say I'm nervous as heck! But I think that stems from the language hurdle that awaits me. Counseling-- good. Speaking Spanish-- bad. Haha! Oh well, it'll be a on-going learning experience and truly a skill I can take anywhere. So yay for that!
The rest of the Evans clan is doing well! We recently celebrated Sammy's 1st birthday, which is still crazy to accept! I know I say it all the time, but truly, WHERE DID THE YEAR GO???
Like Kylie's first birthday bash, we got together with some great friends at McKinley Park in downtown Sacramento. Since Sammy is obsessed with Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, we threw him a "Hot Diggity Dog" party with a hotdog bar. (Which spurred a few too many Pinterest-projects for decorations and pictures).

Finally, today is the final day of a "100 Days of Happy" challenge I did on Instagram.
I captured a moment each day to share, and looking back was so much fun!
I feel super blessed with all the "happy" moments and my sweet little family :)
Not sure when I'll post next, as life is going to be crazy busy. But I hope the rest of your summer is as amazing as each of you!!!
